!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! That would be incredible and I hope it is true. Maybe it will be updated with VVT and or DI for a little more power. The LS7 7 liter V8 is one of the best NA V8s ever made, and would a great super sedan. I was hoping GM would surprise us all and drop the LS7 in the Chevy SS as a going away present, but the ATS-V is a great platform for it.

It would be odd that they’d use an older LS engine while they're rolling out the LT engines. I agree though, an LS7 in an Alpha chassis car would be amazing.

I was hoping GM would roll out an all new SS after the Commodore ends production. That would be lovely, only problem is no one would buy it.

Agreed, and this smells like a rumor, but I hope it is true. Maybe they will update it with DI. The LS7 is lighter than the TTv6, more power and torque, loves to rev, and sounds like sex. GM doesn’t have a LT series V8 that makes more power than TTV6, other than the LT4 but that lives in the CTS-V and would be too heavy for the ATS-V. So the LS7 makes some sense that way.

Well, if the ATS-V plus is a race only special, I could see the point. Something like how they do the COPO Camaros, but instead of drag racing, it's a road racer.
